Welcome to Dad Expeditions — a travel experience built by dads, for dads.

By using our website, signing up for a trip, or engaging with our community in any way, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

  1. Who We Are Dad Expeditions offers curated travel experiences and retreats for fathers seeking adventure, connection, and meaning in midlife. We’re not a travel agency—we're an experience platform. We collaborate with third-party providers for transportation, lodging, and experiences.
  1. Eligibility To join a trip or create an account, you must be:

At least 18 years old

Legally capable of entering a binding agreement

By using our services, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

  1. Booking & Payment Terms a) Deposits & Payments Trips require a deposit at booking and full payment by the date outlined in your confirmation email.

b) Cancellations & Refunds Due to the custom nature of our trips:

Deposits are non-refundable

Partial refunds may be offered based on the cancellation policy of the specific trip (outlined during checkout)

You may be offered a credit toward a future trip

c) Pricing Prices are listed in USD and may change due to supplier costs or currency fluctuation. You’ll always be notified before you are charged more than initially agreed.

  1. Code of Conduct We’re building a supportive community. By participating in any Dad Expeditions event or forum, you agree to:

Treat fellow members with respect

Abide by local laws while traveling

Avoid disruptive or unsafe behavior

We reserve the right to remove anyone who violates these principles—without a refund.

  1. Assumption of Risk You understand that travel involves inherent risks (injury, illness, theft, etc.) and that by participating in a Dad Expeditions trip, you voluntarily assume those risks. We’re not liable for incidents beyond our control.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with cancellation, medical, and emergency coverage.

  1. Intellectual Property All content on DadExpeditions.com (photos, videos, copy, logos, etc.) is our property or used with permission. You may not copy, reuse, or sell our content without written approval.
  1. Third-Party Services Some parts of your experience may involve third-party companies. While we vet our partners carefully, we’re not liable for their actions or terms. You may be subject to their policies as well.
  1. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dad Expeditions is not liable for:

Personal injury or property damage during trips

Delays, losses, or changes due to weather, natural disasters, or travel restrictions

Actions or omissions of third-party service providers

  1. Changes to Terms We may update these terms occasionally. Any updates will be posted here with the new effective date. Continued use of the site means you accept the revised terms.

Liability Waiver and Release of Claims

Effective Date: May 02, 2025

READ CAREFULLY – THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT. By registering for and/or participating in any Midtown West LLC dba Dad Expeditions (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) trip, event, activity, or retreat (collectively, “Event”), the undersigned (“Participant,” “I,” or “me”) agrees to the following:

  1. Assumption of Risk I acknowledge and understand that participation in a Dad Expeditions Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical injury, illness (including communicable diseases), property loss or damage, accidents, acts of nature, terrorism, transportation risks, food or allergic reactions, or other unforeseen circumstances. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, whether known or unknown, and accept full responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from my involvement.
  1. Release of Liability and Indemnification To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby waive, release, and discharge Dad Expeditions LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or in connection with my participation in any Event, including claims based on negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty. I further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees and court costs) brought by me or any third party arising from my conduct, participation, or breach of this agreement.
  1. Medical Authorization and Responsibility I certify that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in the Event. I agree to be solely responsible for my own medical insurance and expenses. I authorize the Company to secure emergency medical care for me if deemed necessary, and I release the Company from liability related to such care.
  1. Travel & Third-Party Vendors I acknowledge that Dad Expeditions may coordinate with or recommend third-party vendors (e.g., transportation, lodging, guides, outfitters). These third parties are independent contractors, and Dad Expeditions is not responsible or liable for their acts or omissions. I agree that all travel arrangements are undertaken at my own risk and I am responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance.
  1. Force Majeure Dad Expeditions is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, strikes, war, terrorism, weather, or acts of God.
  1. Media Release Unless I expressly opt out in writing, I grant Dad Expeditions the irrevocable right to use my likeness, voice, and image in photos, videos, and other media captured during the Event, for promotional and commercial purposes, without compensation.
  1. Binding Arbitration and Governing Law Any disputes arising from this agreement or my participation in a Dad Expeditions Event shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in the state of [Insert State], under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State].
  1. Severability If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
  1. Acknowledgment I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this Liability Waiver and Release of Claims. I understand I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue
